How should I start this? I love photography and the whole purpose of pictures. The moments we cant get back, the smiles, the frowns, the love we show in pictures that we can go back and revisit when we look at them. I decided to start my own little photography business along with Aloette, Scentsy, and my full time job. I know God has put this in my life for a reason. I have to give God all the glory for the blessings in my life.
I just did my first official paid photo session. It was blazing hot outside, I should have scheduled it earlier in the morning or later that evening, but the LeBoeuf family handled it all well and they were a pleasure to photograph.
I am still currently working on my website, I have a graphic designer working on my logo, and trying to find a great lab. Who knew this could be so demanding!! LOL, just kidding. I am loving every minute of it. Well I have to cut this one short because it is late and I am so tired. My husband has even fallen asleep on the floor with our dogs waiting on me. :)
Good night everyone and I hope your days are full of blessings! Put God first and things will happen!! Peace!

WHY GOD MADE MOMS
WHY GOD MADE MOMS
Answers given by 2nd grade school children to the following questions:
Why did God make mothers?
1. She's the only one who knows where the scotch tape is.
2. Mostly to clean the house.
3. To help us out of there when we were getting born.
How did God make mothers?
1. He used dirt, just like for the rest of us.
2. Magic plus super powers and a lot of stirring.
3. God made my mom just the same like he made me. He just used bigger parts.
What ingredients are mothers made of?
1. God makes mothers out of clouds and angel hair and everything nice in the world and one dab of mean.
2. They had to get their start from men's bones. Then they mostly use string, I think.
Why did God give you your mother and not some other mom?
1. We're related.
2. God knew she likes me a lot more than other people's mom like me.

2. I don't know because I wasn't there, but my guess would be pretty bossy.
3. They say she used to be nice.
What did mom need to know about dad before she married him?

1. My dad makes the best spaghetti in the world. And my mom eats a lot
2. She got too old to do anything else with him.
3. My grandma says that mom didn't have her thinking cap on.
Who's the boss at your house?
1. Mom doesn't want to be boss, but she has to because dad's such a goof ball..
2. Mom.. You can tell by room inspection. She sees the stuff under the bed.
3. I guess mom is, but only because she has a lot more to do than dad.
What's the difference between moms and dads?
1. Moms work at work and work at home and dads just go to work at work.
2. Moms know how to talk to teachers without scaring them.
3. Dads are taller and stronger, but moms have all the real power 'cause that's who you got to ask if you want to sleep over at your friends.
4. Moms have magic, they make you feel better without medicine.
What does your mom do in her spare time?
1. Mothers don't do spare time.
2. To hear her tell it, she pays bills all day long..
What would it take to make your mom perfect?
1. On the inside she's already perfect. Outside, I think some kind of plastic surgery.
2. Diet. You know, her hair.. I'd diet, maybe blue.
If you could change one thing about your mom, what would it be?
1. She has this weird thing about me keeping my room clean. I'd get rid of that.
2. I'd make my mom smarter. Then she would know it was my sister who did it not me.
3. I would like for her to get rid of those invisible eyes on the back of her head.
WHEN YOU STOP LAUGHING, SEND IT ON TO OTHER MOTHERS, GRANDMOTHERS, AND AUNTS . . . and anyone else who has anything to do with kids or just needs a good laugh!!!

Household of Faith's Family Fun Day
This will be a short post....
Today started out a little patchy, but worked it's way to a wonderful day with great people. We had our first Family Fun Day for our church today. Boiled crawfish was rolling and the company was AWESOME - OUR KIDS!! I am blessed to have such a wonderful church family and I wouldn't trade them for the world.

Good night and God Bless!

Why Did I Do It??

I don't know what to say first - maybe I should scream now so no one will hear me later... :) Ok so I went to an Aloette party last night and decided I'd put my Clinique items on hold and try this stuff out (I get suckered into things easily), but I know when I see a great thing. Well here's the big punch - I signed up to be a Beauty Consultant!!! So.... on top of starting out doing photos, and being an Independent Scentsy Consultant (www.scentsy.com/Brandi-Liner), I am now a Beauty Consultant for Aloette!! I woke up thinking how am I going to fit all this in?? Do you have any suggestions?
Well the kinda good part about it all is AnnMarie wants to try the stuff and if it puts a little extra money in our "fun" account then I'm all for it. Oh and there is this one lens I'd really like (hint, hint... Nikon 18-200 mm VR II) - that one would replace my others that's for sure!
I also "think" I decided that I will start doing mini sessions 2 weekends out of the month (30 minutes a shoot) The price - to be advised. I am also currently working on my website - it's not up yet, but hopefully soon it will be. Oh man, that will be like 6 different things to update and keep up with, whew!

Oh well, I love a challenge and I know God has a plan for me. If it is for me to try all this and find ONE thing to do, or even ALL THREE things, then that is what I am going to do! I have FAITH in the man upstairs! He has NEVER let me down in my 30 something years here.
I'd like to close this with a Thank you Lord for the many, many blessings in my life. I ask that you help me learn a balance in all that I do and have to work into my day. I ask that you guide my days and give me the wisdom to make the right decisions. You are my light and my salvation. Thank you.

Oh My How Time Flies
Well, I hate to say this, but I forgot about this blog yet again - like since 2006!! Alot has happened over the course of 4 years - the best thing is that I turned my life over to God!!! I no longer do FUN Parties, but something better - Scentsy... it's a safe, soot-free, and wickless! The wax is specially formulated so that it only melts with the Scentsy warmer and you can actually touch it after it's completly melted. You can check it out here: www.scentsy.com/Brandi-Liner I no longer attend college, but I plan to go back and finish - you know how life gets so hectic and you put things off; well, that's what I did. I also started taking pictures, I'm not a professional and I don't claim to be, but I sure try my best and put alot of time into working with my subjects. I am still trying to learn Photoshop, but I so prefer the easier ones. (I just prefer to spend my time at home with my family and not on the computer learning it) I'm still married, we have all four kids living at home now, and we are working to become closer as a "family" instead of mom and kids or dad and kids. My baby girl just turned 15, :( I don't want to see her grow up.... , Dylan is almost 13, and the boys are almost 9!! I so urge you; the ones reading this; to take time with the ones you love - you are not promised tomorrow and we loose track of time and the things in our life consume us so much.
Well, I think I'll shut it down for now, but I will be back! Have a blessed day! :)
